The specification for the materials used will vary from project to project; however here is the most common set with a few of the options available. This is not exhaustive so it is always worth talking to us if you have a specific requirement. We have probably done something similar before, and will be able to advise accordingly.

  5. We have a recommended set of ironmongery that we normally supply and fit (details available on request). If a different set is required then the client is responsible for sourcing them and installation will be re-priced accordingly.
  6. Doors and windows do not have trickle vents unless specifically asked for in writing.

Generic Detailing

Here at Black Pig we do not produce detail drawings for every eventuality. We have found over the years that fully trained carpenters coupled with informed and knowledgeable site management have removed the need and huge expense of something that does not always work when we get down to the nitty gritty of site work. We still produce detail sketches for fiddly intersections but these are for our own assistance. Here are a few generic sketches to give a feel for the detailing involved.
