A glazed extension to basically double the floor plan of an 17th century farm workers cottage in Kent. Black Pig oak joinery supplied and fitted to the green oak frame and a painted FSC tropical hardwood glazed door fitted into the masonry of the main house. Solar control coating on the glass units to help mitigate the effects of solar gain on the green oak frame. The client supplied images of the frame the following summer to let us see how it was coming along. This job progressed very smoothly due to the regular supply of bacon sandwiches provided by the client. Frame by Westwind Oak Buildings Ltd.
